Troubleshooting Boot and Crash Issues on My Computer
Hey there! So, I've been having this recurring issue with my computer lately, and I'm wondering if any of you tech-savvy folks out there can help me out. Here's the deal: my computer frequently fails to boot, especially if I've recently used it. The only way I can get it to boot is by removing all but one monitor cable from the back. It's a bit of a hassle because sometimes it works right away, but other times it takes about 20 tries. Frustrating, right? To make matters worse, my computer often crashes when left idle for more than a minute. This is a more recent issue and it doesn't happen all the time, but still, it's a concern. I'm not sure if it's just a simple BIOS setting that needs tweaking or if there's a hardware problem lurking somewhere. Oddly enough, there have been long periods when these problems never occurred, so I'm truly puzzled. Let me give you a rundown of my computer specs: I have an RTX 2060 6GB graphics card, an Intel I5-9400F processor, an Asus Prime H310M-K R2.0 motherboard, 16GB DDR 4 RAM, a 500W power supply (not sure about the brand though), a 240GB SSD, and a 1TB SSD. If any of you brilliant minds out there have any ideas, suggestions, or troubleshooting tips, please let me know. I'm open to trying anything at this point. Thanks in advance for your help!
